Video Of The Blue-Winged Leafbird (Chloropsis Cochinchinensis)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cqGeowEZ6xk
The blue-winged leafbird (Chloropsis cochinchinensis) is a species of leafbird found in forest and second growth from far north-eastern India and throughout Southeast Asia as far east as Borneo and as far south as Java. It commonly includes Jerdon's leafbird (C. jerdoni) from the Indian Subcontinent, and the Bornean leafbird (C. kinabaluensis) from northern Borneo as subspecies, but differs from both in measurements and morphology, with Jerdon's lacking any blue to the flight feathers, and Bornean having a distinctive male-like female plumage. The distribution of the blue-winged and the Bornean leafbird are known to approach each other, but there is no evidence of intergradation.
C. c. viridinucha

The male is green-bodied with a yellow-tinged head, black face and throat. It has a blue moustachial line. The female differs in that it has a greener head and blue throat, and young birds are like the female but without the blue throat patch.

It is common to fairly common throughout most of its range, and therefore considered to be of least concern by BirdLife International.

The superficially similar golden-fronted leafbird lacks blue in the flight feathers and tail, and has a golden forehead.

As in other leafbirds, the call of the blue-winged leafbird consists of a rich mixture of imitations of the calls of various other species of birds.

The Javan Myna (Acridotheres Javanicus) Beautifull Bird From Java

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iti5EKusD4c
The Javan myna (Acridotheres javanicus), also known as the white-vented myna and the buffalo myna, is a myna, a member of the Starling family. It is primarily found in Java.

It is conspecific, and thought to be in competition with the common myna (A. tristis) in some of its range (for example, Malaysia and Singapore).

The Javan myna has an extremely liquid voice and, like the European starling, incorporates imitation into its repertoire (though it is not able to imitate the human voice, like the hill myna Gracula religiosa).

The Javan myna is predominantly black, with a white vent, a white wing patch, white on the underside of the tail, and has a thick yellow eye ring for grown adults, legs and beak. It sometimes has grey (white) flecking on its belly. It can raise the feathers on its forehead into a dramatic crest.

Like other sturnids it is omnivorous, roosts in colonies and is abundantly successful in a variety of habitats. Javan mynas are as accomplished in cities as they are in padi fields, where they will prey on insects disturbed by water buffalo, often riding the buffalo like the related oxpecker.
Captive Javan mynas housed with Indian myna

It is usually found in southeast Asia.

There is some confusion over naming between A. grandis and A. javanicus, which was until recently considered a subspecies of the pale-bellied myna, A. cinereus. It lays 2-6 eggs. Javan myna can live 8 to 20 years. It eats ants, worms, fruits, human feeds, insects and grains.

Song Of The Pied Myna or Asian Pied Starling (Gracupica Contra)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yYDFqW-FDk8
The pied myna or Asian pied starling (Gracupica contra) is a species of starling found in the Indian subcontinent and Southeast Asia. They are usually found in small groups mainly on the plains and low foothills. They are often seen within cities and villages although they are not as bold as the common myna. They produce a range of calls made up of liquid notes. Several slight plumage variations exist in the populations and about five subspecies are named.

These starlings are usual found in small groups, foraging mainly on the ground but perching on trees and buildings. Birds in a group call frequently with a wide repertoire that includes whistles, trills, buzzes, clicks, and warbling calls. Young birds taken into captivity have been trained to imitate tunes of other birds.

Both sexes sing. They forage in fields, lawns and on open ground feeding on grains, fruit, insects, earthworms and molluscs usually taken from the ground. Like many other starlings, they often use a prying or gaping action, piercing soil and then opening apart the bill to dislodge hidden food. The strong protractor muscles allow them to part a mat of grass and their eyes are positioned to obtain a binocular view of the space between the parted beak. They often feed in grazing land or among cattle.

The breeding season in India is spread from March to September. With the onset of breeding, the sizes of flocks decline and birds pair up. Courtship involves calling, fluffing of the feathers and head bobbing. The nest is a loose mass of straw formed into a dome with an entrance on the side and placed in a large tree (often banyan, mango, jackfruit, rosewood) or sometimes on man-made structures, often close to human habitation. Several pairs will breed in the same vicinity. The usual clutch is made up of about four to six glossy blue eggs. Each egg is laid with a day in between and incubation begins only after the third or fourth egg is laid. The eggs hatch after 14 to 15 days. The young are brooded for two weeks, the female staying at the nest during the night. Both parents feed the chicks until they fledge and leave after three weeks. More than one brood may be raised in a season.

The Bali myna, Bali's Regional Mascot

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xWvZ54Lq3dU

The Bali myna (Leucopsar rothschildi), also known as Rothschild's mynah, Bali starling, or Bali myna(h), locally known as Jalak Bali, is a medium-sized (up to 25 cm long), stocky myna, almost wholly white with a long, drooping crest, and black tips on the wings and tail. The bird has blue bare skin around the eyes, greyish legs and a yellow bill. Both sexes are similar.

Male and female Bali starlings are similar in appearance, but the crest is often longer in males. Young birds tend to have a much shorter crest than adults, or may lack one altogether. They may have a smoky tinge to the feathers on the back, and a cinnamon tinge on the wings.

The song of the Bali starling is composed of a wide variety of loud, chattering noises, including whistles, chuckles and squawks, and is performed by both sexes, usually without an accompanying display. However, this species is known to perform a bobbing action, which is sometimes accompanied by quieter chattering sounds. The Bali starling gives a flight call when taking off, which sounds like ‘creer’, and is also known to utter ‘tschick tschick tschick’ as an alarm call

The Bali Mynah is distributed and endemic to the island of Bali, where it is the island's only surviving endemic species. This rare bird was discovered in 1910 and is one of the world's most critically endangered birds. In fact, it has been hovering immediately above extinction in the wild for several years

The Bali myna, Bali's regional mascot, is critically endangered, hovering immediately above extinction in the wild for several years now (BirdLife International 2006). The Bali myna is listed in Appendix I of CITES. Trade even in captive-bred specimens is strictly regulated and the species is not generally available legally to private individuals. However, experienced aviculturalists may become affiliated with captive-breeding programs, allowing them to legally keep this species. The exact number of birds remaining in the wild is unknown, with estimates in 2012 of 24 adults in West Bali National Park and over 100 on the Balinese island of Nusa Penida. At least 1,000 birds are believed to be held in captivity legally. The number of captive birds bought on the black market is estimated to be twice the number of legally acquired individuals in the captive breeding programs.

The Atlantic canary (Serinus canaria) Bird Symbol Of Canary Island

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZzTnWUSumY0

The Atlantic canary (Serinus canaria) is known worldwide simply as wild canary. It is also called the island canary, canary or common canary, is a small passerine bird belonging to the genus Serinus in the finch family, Fringillidae. It is native to the Canary Islands, the Azores, and Madeira. Wild birds are mostly yellow-green, with brownish streaking on the back. The species is common in captivity and a number of colour varieties have been bred.

This bird is the natural symbol of the Canary Islands, together with the Canary Island date palm.
Atlantic canary is a songbird that belongs to the family of true finches. It originates from the Canary Islands, Azores and Madeira (three archipelagos in the Atlantic Ocean). Atlantic canary inhabits forests, mountainsides, sand dunes, dry valleys, orchards and parks. It can be found on the altitude of up to 5.500 feet. Number of Atlantic canaries is larger and stable in the wild. These birds are not on the list of endangered species.

The male has a largely yellow-green head and underparts with a yellower forehead, face and supercilium.[9] The lower belly and undertail-coverts are whitish and there are some dark streaks on the sides. The upperparts are grey-green with dark streaks and the rump is dull yellow.[10] The female is similar to the male but duller with a greyer head and breast and less yellow underparts. Juvenile birds are largely brown with dark streaks.

Female chooses the nesting site and constructs the nest, while male defends their territory from other canaries. Female lays 3 to 4 bluish eggs that hatch after 13 to 14 days. Both parents participate in rearing of chicks. Young birds leave the nest 15 to 17 days after hatching. They are ready for the independent life at the age of 36 days.

The Atlantic canary (Serinus canaria) Song

Atlantic canary sings all year round. Songs are especially important during the breeding season, because they attract females. Atlantic canary produces melodic songs composed of whistles, trills, twitters and churrs that can last up to 25 seconds. Atlantic canary is gregarious bird. It lives in large flocks composed of hundreds of birds. Atlantic canary can survive 8 years in the wild and up to 20 years in the captivity.

Beautifull Bird The Black-collared Starling (Sturnus Nigricollis)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dhWEbK99p4k

The family Sturnidae includes the starlings and mynas. Family members are collectively know as the starlings. The family also used to include the oxpeckers, but they now are thought to be rather distant relatives. Some starling species are good mimics, and the family is related to the mimidae family of mockingbirds. Starlings are small to medium sized. They are usually dark colored, often with a metallic sheen, but some have bright colors. Many species have very bright eyes. The starlings eat insects and fruit. They favor open spaces.

Genus Acridotheres
The "typical" mynas are found in tropical southern Asia from Iran east to southern China and Indonesia. Two species have been introduced widely elsewhere. The Common Myna has been introduced to South Africa, Israel, Hawaii, North America, Australia and New Zealand, and the Crested Myna to the Vancouver region of British Columbia. They are general dark dull birds. They walk rather than hop. They have bowing courtship displays and lay unmarked pale blue eggs.

The Black-collared Starling (Sturnus nigricollis) is a species of starling in the Sturnidae family. It is found in Brunei, Cambodia, China, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical dry forests.

Black-collared starlings act in small groups in woods, grassland and fields. They feed on earthworms, fly eggs, beetles and ferry. They produce their young from April to June each year and they build their nests on top of trees. The male bird cries merrily and loudly during the mating period. Because they are good at singing, some people raise them as fancy birds.

Video Nature Song of The Common Myna (Acridotheres Tristis)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dKOJonU9sME

The common myna (Acridotheres tristis), sometimes spelled mynah, also sometimes known as "Indian myna", is a member of the family Sturnidae (starlings and mynas) native to Asia. An omnivorous open woodland bird with a strong territorial instinct, the myna has adapted extremely well to urban environments.

The range of the common myna is increasing at such a rapid rate that in 2000 the IUCN Species Survival Commission declared it one of the world's most invasive species and one of only three birds in the top 100 species that pose an impact to biodiversity, agriculture and human interests. In particular, the species poses a serious threat to the ecosystems of Australia where it was named "The Most Important Pest/Problem".

It is a species of bird native to Asia with its initial home range spanning from Iran, Pakistan, India, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka; as well as Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Myanmar, to Malaysia, Singapore, peninsular Thailand, Indo-China and China.

The myna has been introduced in many other parts of the world such as Canada, Australia, Israel, New Zealand, New Caledonia, Hawaii, South Africa, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and islands in the Indian Ocean (Seychelles, Mauritius, Réunion, Madagascar, Maldives, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep archipelago) and also in islands of the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. The range of the common myna is increasing to the extent that in 2000 the IUCN Species Survival Commission declared it among the World's 100 worst invasive species.

Video Beautifull Nature Song of Prinias

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PcKeIezqyMI

The prinias are a genus of small insectivorous birds belonging to the passerine bird family Cisticolidae. They are often also alternatively classed in the Old World warbler family, Sylviidae. The name of the genus is derived from the Javanese prinya, the local name for the bar-winged prinia.

The prinias are sometimes referred to as wren-warblers. They are a little-known group of the tropical and subtropical Old World, the roughly thirty species being divided fairly equally between Africa and Asia.

These are birds mainly of open habitats such as long grass or scrub, in which they are not easily seen. They are mainly resident, migration being limited to local cold weather movements. Non-breeding birds may form small flocks.

Prinias have short wings but long tapering tails. They are fairly drab birds, brown or grey above (sometimes with dark streaks) and whitish below. Some species have different breeding and non-breeding plumages. The bill is a typical insectivore's, thin and slightly curved.

Song of The White-Rumped Shama (Copsychus Malabaricus)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MvXeIANmsRM

The white-rumped shama (Copsychus malabaricus) is a small passerine bird of the family Muscicapidae. Native to densely vegetated habitats in the Indian subcontinent and Southeast Asia, its popularity as a cage-bird and songster has led to it being introduced elsewhere.

When thinking about birds in Singapore, one will normally think of the commonly seen Javan Myna or the Eurasian Tree Sparrow, which are both ranked relatively high on the 2010 Mid-Year Bird census (1st and 13th respectively). One will not normally think, or even know of the White-Rumped Shama (Copsychus malabaricus), considered to be a rare bird in mainland Singapore. The White-Rumped Shama is a predominantly black bird living in forested areas. Their most renowned feature is their beautiful song, directly resulting in their status as one of the most popular caged birds in Singapore.

The White-Rumped Shama have an extremely large range , from South-East Asia and the Greater Sunda Islands, to South China and India; where they are native. As a result of deliberate introduction to supplement native fauna, their range was extended even further to the Hawaiian Islands, where they were introduced starting from the 1930s (Kauai in 1931, Oahu in 1940 and Maui in late 1900s). Their introduction was apparently rather successful .

Song of The Oriental Magpie-Robin (Copsychus Saularis)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lz1yUlTq7kk

The oriental magpie-robin (Copsychus saularis) is a small passerine bird that was formerly classed as a member of the thrush family Turdidae, but now considered an Old World flycatcher. They are distinctive black and white birds with a long tail that is held upright as they forage on the ground or perch conspicuously. Occurring across most of the Indian subcontinent and parts of Southeast Asia, they are common birds in urban gardens as well as forests. They are particularly well known for their songs and were once popular as cagebirds. The oriental magpie-robin is considered the national bird of Bangladesh.

This magpie-robin is an insectivorous species which is a resident breeder in tropical southern Asia from Bangladesh, Pakistan, India and Sri Lanka east to Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, south China and the Philippines.

The Oriental Magpie Robin is a common and tame bird. It is terrestrial, hopping along the ground with cocked tail. The male sings loud melodic notes from the top of a perch during the breeding season.

Magpie Robin is a common bird in Bangladesh. It is found all over the country. It's local name (in Bangla) is Doyel or Doel (Bengali: দোয়েল). This bird has been designated as the National Bird of Bangladesh. Picture of this bird appeares on different currency notes of Bangladesh. Doyel Chatwar (meaning: Doyel Square) named after this bird is a prominent landmark in Dhaka, the capital city of Bangladesh.

Song Bird The mistle thrush (Turdus viscivorus)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x-TF9BCaFzg

The mistle thrush (Turdus viscivorus) is a bird common to much of Europe, Asia and North Africa. It is a year-round resident in much of its range, but northern and eastern populations migrate south for the winter, often in small flocks.

It is a large thrush with pale grey-brown upperparts, a greyish-white chin and throat, and black spots on its pale yellow and off-white underparts. The sexes are similar in plumage, and its three subspecies show only minimal differences. The male has a loud, far-carrying song which is delivered even in wet and windy weather, earning the bird the old name of "stormcock".

This is a pale, black-spotted thrush - large, aggressive and powerful. It stands boldly upright and bounds across the ground while in flight, it has long wings and its tail has whitish edges. It is most likely to be noticed perched high at the top of a tree, singing its fluty song or giving its rattling call in flight.

Song Bird The common blackbird (Turdus merula)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1yPy2UFYZ-k

The common blackbird (Turdus merula) is a species of true thrush. It is also called Eurasian blackbird (especially in North America, to distinguish it from the unrelated New World blackbirds), or simply blackbird where this does not lead to confusion with a similar-looking local species.

It breeds in Europe, Asia, and North Africa, and has been introduced to Canada, United States, Mexico, Peru, Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, the Falkland Islands, Chile, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand. It has a number of subspecies across its large range; a few of the Asian subspecies are sometimes considered to be full species. Depending on latitude, the common blackbird may be resident, partially migratory, or fully migratory.

Adult male blackbirds (Turdus merula) are, as the name suggests, totally black; they have a bright golden-yellow bill and a neat yellow ring around the eye during spring and summer.

Towards the end of summer the bill starts to darken. Females are brown in colour, with dark, streaky mottling on the paler, rufous breast. Juveniles resemble females, but they have pale spots on the upperparts. A range of vocalisations is produced, including a loud 'pli-pli-pli' alarm call, and the fluty, melodious song.

Beautifull Bird Song The Vermilion Cardinal

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PoNf8OJilCk

The Vermilion Cardinal is the most southerly member of the genus Cardinalis, and is also the most shockingly red of the three species. The male is a bright rosy red and, as if it were not noticeable enough, it has a long spikelike crest which is almost always held straight up.

It is a fairly common species in dry desert scrub and dense thorny thickets along the Caribbean coasts of Venezuela and Colombia. The species is easiest to see in the cool of the early morning when males will perch conspicuously and sing their loud whistled song, which is quite similar to that of the Northern Cardinal (Cardinalis cardinalis).

This species has a very large range, and hence does not approach the thresholds for Vulnerable under the range size criterion (Extent of Occurrence <20,000 km2 combined with a declining or fluctuating range size, habitat extent/quality, or population size and a small number of locations or severe fragmentation).

Despite the fact that the population trend appears to be decreasing, the decline is not believed to be sufficiently rapid to approach the thresholds for Vulnerable under the population trend criterion (>30% decline over ten years or three generations).

The population size has not been quantified, but it is not believed to approach the thresholds for Vulnerable under the population size criterion (<10,000 mature individuals with a continuing decline estimated to be >10% in ten years or three generations, or with a specified population structure). The musician wren or organ wren (Cyphorhinus arada)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rRBIR6VRsYE

The musician wren or organ wren (Cyphorhinus arada) is a species of wren named for its elaborate song. It is native to the Amazon Rainforest in South America, and west and southwestwards into the Amazonian Andes.

In Portuguese it is known as Uirapuru or many other variants of this name, all based on the Tupi wirapu 'ru. Especially in Brazil, the musician wren is the subject of several legends and fables, most relating to its loud and beautiful song. One of these tells that when it starts singing all other birds stop their song to hear it.

The musician wren is also believed to bring good luck, which leads some people to kill it in order to have it stuffed.[2] Even though there are no reliable statistics of its numbers, the musician wren, due to its large range and being locally fairly common, is not considered threatened.

The rufous-tailed jacamar (Galbula ruficauda) is a near-passerine bird which breeds in the tropical New World in southern Mexico, Central America and South America as far south as southern Brazil and Ecuador.

These birds forage from a perch on an exposed branch 1 to 3 meters from the ground, and sally out to catch insects on the wing.  After the jacamar has caught an insect it beats it several times against a branch to stun it and remove the insect's wings before it swallows.

This species is a resident breeder in a range of dry or moist woodlands and scrub. The two to four rufous-spotted white eggs are laid in a burrow in a bank or termite mound.
